Which lucky duck wine is sweet




















And those wallabies. And this just might happen to you, if you get suckered in, by critter branding in the wine aisle. Primarily dry with a bit of sweetness, moderate to low acid, and what some reviewers have described as metallic taste. This might be the result of the wine being a bit cold. When I first tasted it, I thought the same thing, but as it got warmer, it seemed to mellow out into more of a floral flavor.

There is still dried apricot, but the other flavor has gotten more lime like. I really wanted to like Lucky Duck Riesling. It seems closer to a Gewurztraminer with some Viognier and a Sauvignon Blanc. None of which is to be expected from an old world riesling. Verdict: Walks like a talk, talks like a duck, tastes like a chicken.

Probably not a duck. Price: 4. Also, I'm alcohol intolerant to a lot of wines, but not this one. January 29, Lucky Duck Moscato. White Wine Wino had a hankering for a Moscato.

Comes from the Lucky Duck Winery in Chile. Like most Moscatos, it is sweet. Unlike others, can't beat the price! Both Winos gave it a Good Rating not because of the low price.
